What does EditShare actually do?

Can we buy just one product?
Yes. EFS storage, FLOW media management and MediaSilo review are separate products and each does a job on its own, so you can start where the pain actually is rather than replacing everything at once. They are worth more together, because the handoffs between them disappear, but that is a reason to expand later rather than a condition of starting. FLOW AI is the one piece licensed on its own subscription.
How much does it cost?
It depends on which products you take, how much media you hold and how many people pull at once, so a list price would be misleading. Being straight about the shape: this is professional infrastructure and deployments run well into five figures. If that is far outside what you had in mind, a call will not change it. If it is in range, bring your capacity and headcount and you will leave with a real number.
How long does deployment take?
The software and hardware are the quick part. What sets the timeline is your network, how much media has to move, and how many workflows change on the way in. We size that against your actual setup on the call rather than quoting a number that fits nobody.
Can we migrate from what we run now?
Bring what you run now to the call. What decides the effort is how much media has to move, what your current platform hands over cleanly, and whether you can run both side by side while it does. That is the first thing we work through rather than something to promise a timeline for on a web page.
Is there a contract, and what happens if we stop?
On-premise EditShare is bought outright rather than rented, so the hardware stays yours and there is no subscription to cancel. FLEX, which is EditShare on AWS, runs as a subscription instead, and FLOW AI is subscription only. Which combination fits depends on how you want to carry the cost, and both routes are open.
Does it run on-premise, in the cloud, or both?
All three. On-premise, cloud and hybrid, and you are not forced to pick one model for every team in the building.
Does it work with our editing tools?
